Hi! I’m Emily, though I go by Emi (pronounced em-ee) because who doesn’t love a good nickname?

To keep it short, I absolutely love books—especially the ones that pull you out of the real world and immerse you in their pages. I’m particularly passionate about fiction, with a focus on fantasy, romance, and thriller genres.

You know those people who can talk endlessly about TV shows or movies? Or those who rattle off song titles and artists like they’re reading from a teleprompter? Well, that’s me, but with books and authors I adore.

I approach every book with the hope that the story will play out like a film in my mind. For me, the entertainment factor is key. Once an author has me hooked, I’ll rave about their book to anyone who’ll listen.

I run a local fantasy book club that grows every month, and I’m always eager to introduce indie authors—it’s like finding a hidden gem, and that feeling is truly special.

In addition to reading, you may find me in the kitchen baking up delicious treats, on the water doing a little bit of paddle-boarding, or spending time with my husband and pets at home!
