As an Emily Henry stan, I don’t think you could expect less than 5 stars from me. Her humor is sooo good—full of witty characters and playful, laugh-out-loud banter—but it’s not all lighthearted fun. Henry always balances the humor with emotional depth, giving her characters real struggles to overcome. Funny Story is another book that goes beyond a classic Hallmark romance, weaving together love, growth, and connection in a way that feels both comforting and meaningful. If you love happy endings with depth, this one’s for you!
